I'm hoping in years to come, this Blog will prove to be a valuable record of the great Chinese Takeaway tradition in Britain. Every picture is a genuine photo taken by yours truly (I have had many a strange look but have bluffed my way so far without having a Chinese chef with his hatchet chasing me away).

^*SHANGHAI*^ - Glasgow St, Ardrossan.

A Google search brought up results for a Shanghai takeaway, rather than the Shan Hai that seems to be advertised on the sign.
A quick zoom (below) confirms that the G has fallen off and the correct name is Shanghai.
